THROUGH A CHILD'S EYES: THE AMAZON RAINFOREST

The rainforest hides me. Giant trees touch the sky, the leaves like green blankets stretching as far as I can see. The air is heavy with a flowers and wet earth. A burst of colors flies from the scales of a lizard. I run through the woods, my feet bare on the soft ground. I listen for the rustling of animals hiding amongst the leaves. I try to cat
